Apprentice Mechanic/ Shop Labourer

Ocean Trailer is seeking a full-time Apprentice Mechanic / Shop Labourer. In this position, you will be exposed to a variety of tasks. If you want to learn a trade, enjoy working with your hands, and are mechanically inclined, then this may be your perfect opportunity! We will assist you in working towards obtaining a Red Seal Trade Certificate as a Transport Trailer Technician.

Outline of Role:

• Keep the shop bays clean
• Perform simple repairs
• Assist/Mentor with Journeyman Trailer Mechanics
• Follow directions and assist on various repairs and tasks
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Other tasks include: running forklift, providing support to Parts or Yard Dept.
