Mobile Trailer Mechanic

Ocean Trailer, Western Canada's Trailer Specialist, is currently seeking a skilled Mobile Trailer Mechanic to join our service team at our Delta, BC branch.

In this role, you will operate a company service truck and travel to various customer locations to troubleshoot, service, and repair commercial highway trailers. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys working independently in a dynamic environment.

​​Key Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on commercial trailers at customer locations and on the road
• Diagnose and repair ABS braking systems
• Perform electrical repairs, suspension work, and welding
• Pick required parts and complete work orders and job documentation
• Communicate with customers to understand their service needs
• Maintain safe work practices while working independently in the field

​​Requirements

• Journeyman or Licensed Trailer Mechanic (asset)
• CVI ticket (asset)
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with ABS systems, electrical diagnostics, suspension, and welding
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and willingness to learn
• Valid Class 5 driver​'s license with a clean driver​'s abstract
• Must have own basic tools
