This position will be responsible for operating weld machines and work with a variety of weld fixtures while adhering to the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) welding procedures. Responsible for fitting and welding of steel, aluminum and stainless-steel parts using a MIG and/or TIG process. QUALIFICATIONS: CWB certification is mandatory, including MCAW/FCAW flat position ticket. Must have 1 – 2 years’ welding experience in a manufacturing environment. (May also consider relevant education and training.) Thorough knowledge of all types of welding procedures and practices and proficient in layout, tacking, welding, grinding and finishing. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints/weld symbols, drawings specifications, manuals and process sheets.
