We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor. This position islocated in Lindsay,
ON. The starting salary is $98,000 annually, with consideration given to experience, qualifications, and demonstrated leadership capabilities. In addition, this position participates in a 10% Annual Incentive Bonus Plan. This
is a full-time, permanent day-shift position.
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and support the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities. The successful candidate will be a licensed Industrial Millwright with strong leadership skills, experience in preventative maintenance programs, and a commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager and supervises a team of six maintenance employees and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities
- Supervise, coach, and develop a team of six maintenance employees and contractors
- Conduct daily pre-shift meetings focused on safety, staffing, and operational priorities
- Support equipment reliability and maximum production uptime
- Coordinate specialized external contractors and service providers
- Collaborate with production and support departments on maintenance requirements
- Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives
- Interacts with all departments to support their maintenance requirements
- Coordinate and interact with external agencies and contractors as required for specialized work and regulatory requirements
- Valid Industrial Millwright (433A) Certificate of Qualification
- Industrial Electrician certification would be an asset
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and PLC-controlled equipment
- Experience working in heavy manufacturing, concrete products, aggregates, construction materials, or related industrial environments would be considered an asset
- Experience using CMMS systems
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
