BLANCO Canada currently has an opening for a Red Seal Millwright for our Toronto manufacturing facility. Position is full-time with potential for permanent placement in a unionized environment with a competitive starting wage of $42/hour followed by regular wage progression as per the collective agreement. Responsibilities: Perform repairs and follow preventative maintenance schedule thoroughly to minimize production downtime. Complete work orders as per schedule and support Production Supervisors for troubleshooting shift calls and emergencies with a sense of urgency. Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings. Perform Pneumatic and Hydraulic troubleshooting including cylinder and valve rebuilding. Operates machines such as lathes, drill presses, punch presses, shapers and grinders to fabricate dies, tools, jigs and fixtures. Maintain and assemble machines using appropriate tools and procedure.
