Qualifications Minimum 5 years’ experience in a related industry and position. Experience hauling oversized loads, both long and wide Valid, incident free, AZ license and clean driving abstract. Thorough knowledge of safe driving procedures and traffic laws. Must have exceptional organization and communication skills. Must have a good attitude and be willing to learn and share ideas. Strong geographical knowledge of southern Ontario. Strong English communication skills.

Licensed Mechanic – 310T or 310S Reporting to the Shop Foreman, a 310T or 310S Licensed Technician (Mechanic) is responsible for the day-to-day preventative and post-incident repairs of a large fleet of commercial vehicles. This fast-paced but diligent role will diagnose and carry out all repairs for mechanical issues and problems discovered in various commercial School Buses and civilian class vehicles. The incumbent will maintain a strong sense of customer service while interacting with various stakeholders including School Bus Drivers, Dispatchers, Managers, Peer Mechanics, Apprentices, and Governmental Agencies. The Fleet Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative maintenance inspections and repairs to all new and existing fleet. Job duties also include performing yearly commercial vehicle safety inspections as well as equipment moves and tire repair and installations.
