Part-time Industrial electrician

Location: Oldcastle, Ontario

Job type: Part-time position with days and hours to be negotiated

Experience required – Minimum of 5 years

Wage: open to negotiation

This position involves the troubleshooting and repair of various industrial electronics.

Our company has many repairs and ongoing projects that require an experienced electrician. As these repairs and modifications are not urgent, we are able to offer employment as a part-time position and can schedule workdays and times of convenience.

This is an ideal employment opportunity for a retired individual or a person wanting supplemental wages. We can also schedule on weekends or afternoons if convenient.

Must be electronically inclined to provide various repairs on, but not limited to:

CNC equipment

HVAC equipment

Industrial machinery

PLCs

Both high and low voltage

Electrical wiring (wiring lights, changing plugs, etc)

A benefit (but not necessary) skills:

Robotic programming

PLC programming

Familiarity with CNC controllers (Heidenhain)

Computer network wiring

The most necessary requirement is a person that is highly organized, enjoys working in a clean work area and an overall perfectionist. If you are “jumper happy”, this may not be the right fit.
