Licensed Plumber-Journeyman

We are looking for a Licensed Plumber (Journeyman) to join our growing team!

Responsibilities include:

• Leading residential and commercial renovation projects
• Responding to plumbing service calls, including drain cleaning
• Water treatment assessment and installation including water softeners, reverse osmosis and whole-house filtration
• Performing underground, rough-in, and final plumbing tests
• Creating material lists and identifying appropriate tools required for jobs
• Gathering pertinent information for the purpose of quoting new projects
• Following health and safety standards and complying with building codes
• Supervising and training apprentices efficiently and effectively
• Keeping van stocked, organized and clean

We need someone who has:

• A valid plumbing license through the Ontario College of Trades
• The Leadership tools for ongoing projects and on-call service
• Decision making and problem-solving/analytical skills
• Residential and commercial renovation experience
• In-depth knowledge of maintenance and repairs of plumbing systems
• Knowledge of Ontario and local plumbing codes
• Ability to work independently and is a self-starter
• Exceptional organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to educate customers on plumbing systems
• Time management skills to ensure a project stays on time
• A valid G driver’s license
