ROLE: This role is responsible for operating machines that manufacture doors, slabs and door components. Machines used are:CNC, Norfield and KVAL).

SHIFTS: PM Monday to Thursday, 2:30pm to 1:00am, with an additional $2.00/hour shift premium


  • Preparing and operating machinery to perform tasks such as routering, boring, etc.
  • Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
  • Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result
  • Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
  • Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality
  • Ensure safe work practices are followed in all activities
  • Ensure a high-quality build of all products: accuracy and attention to detail is key
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas


Our ideal candidate comes with the following skills:

  • Door shop experience/knowledge of door components and assembling techniques (preferred)
  • Carpentry/wood working experience (preferred)
  • Mathematical aptitude and understanding of imperial measurements to the 1/32 of an inch
  • Physically fit and able to stand and / or be on your feet for an entire shift
  • Willing to be comfortable with safely using the following:
    • Chops saws, table saws, rip saws, hand saws
    • Routers, nail guns, door machines
    • Various pneumatic tools and drills
  • Willing to be cross-trained in all areas of production
  • Willing to take direction


  • Compensation based on experience
