Material Handler with Forklift experience

ROLE:Responsible for picking orders, packaging units of doors, distribution products and preparing truckloads to be shipped. Includes picking and filling shelf good items, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse in a safe and productive manner.

HOURS:Monday-Friday, 5:30am to 2:00pm

RESPONSIBILIIES:

• Prepares orders for shipment by processing requests and supply orders; pulling the correct materials (up to 60 lbs.)
• Follow standard processes and procedures and load trucks
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins per organizational standards
• Assist in counting of physical inventory
• Perform all duties safely, in accordance with our safety standards
• Identify damaged, lost or missing merchandise and notify supervisor immediately

CORE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Dependable and Reliable with a positive and willing attitude
• Motivated, quick problem solver who likes to work in a fast-paced team
• Able to read and follow instructions; successfully manage workflow to meet shipping deadlines.
• Frequently lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs
• Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• High impact Forklift operation skills including:
  • Extreme confidence in operational abilities
  • Overhead stacking and unstacking of multiple sized units
  • Memorizing and following safe stacking rules

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

COMPETENCIES PREFERRED:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 yrs previous warehouse experience
• Inventory, Equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills
• Current Forklift Certification (Reach truck required)
