Stamping press die setup / operator / setter – Immediate hire

Job type: 40-60 hours / 5-6 days per week full time / day and afternoon shift

Wage: based on experience and abilities (see below)

Prerequisites:

CTD is looking for experienced stamping press operator / setter with knowledge in die repair and troubleshooting. You must have 3 years minimum of stamping press operation along with feed equipment. Forklift and crane operation is also required. A self-sufficient and motivated person willing to obtain a long term position is mandatory.

Job requirement:

You will operate a 1500 ton Danly metal stamping press along with feeding equipment. This press has recently undergone upgrades to controller system and robotic transfer installation. Production consists of short-term stamping for service and support.

Job duties:

• Installing various stamping dies into press
• Setup of coils and feed equipment
• Making alterations to equipment and / or die to produce quality parts and increase efficiency
• Quality control of parts – on checking fixture and visually
• Oversee other press operators for production requirements
• Overall safety requirements
• Minimal training of temporary production laborers

The following abilities are not mandatory but an assed and will determine a higher wage:

Ability to lead production department

Tool and Die experience

Robotic programming experience

Fabrication experience

D-Z driver’s license
