Flat Roofer – Full-Time ($38/hour)

Roofline Experts Ltd. is looking to hire an experienced Flat Roofer who can commit to a full-time position to join our crews of subcontractors for projects on residential, commercial, and industrial projects across the GTA. We deliver quality, safety, and reliability on modern flat roofing systems and related waterproofing.

About the role

Position: Full-time Flat Roofer
Pay: $38.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime and participation in 24/7 emergency rotations
Sites: Residential, commercial, industrial

Job Duties include, but not limited to:

-Install, repair, and maintain flat roofing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial properties
-Must have experience with TPO/single‑ply, modified bitumen/torch‑down, liquid‑applied coatings, Duradek, and cedar roofing.
-Vinyl roofing is especially important to have well versed experience with for current and upcoming projects
-Perform leak detection and diagnostics; complete emergency repairs and service calls.
-Execute full replacements and new installations, including tie‑ins and terminations.
-Install and repair roof details and accessories: flashing, penetrations, drains, eavestroughs, and skylight curbs/units.
-Support green roof assemblies and protective layers where specified.
-Conduct roof inspections, preventative maintenance, and seasonal work (e.g., snow/ice and icicle removal when required).
-Read scopes/drawings, stage materials, maintain a clean, safe site, and follow fall‑protection procedures.

What you must bring:

-2–3 years of hands‑on flat roofing experience
-Working at Heights and Health and Safety Certification
-Proven skills in: TPO/single‑ply, mod‑bit/torch‑down, Duradek; multi‑system experience is an asset.
-Strong leak‑tracing, detail work, and troubleshooting ability.
-Able to work at heights on residential, commercial, and mid/high‑rise buildings and in varied weather.
