Job Description

Liftsafe Engineering and Service Group Inc. is looking to add more inspection/service technicians to our team. We have opportunities at each of our Scarborough, Ayr and Windsor locations!

This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to enter the workforce, or for people with experience in the manufacturing sector looking to make a career change. Our technicians are trained to inspect over 40 different types of equipment.

Apprenticeships are available in the following trades for the right individuals - Millwright 433A, Electrician 309A/442A

As part of the Liftsafe team, you will:

  • Conduct regular safety inspections for our customers on a wide variety of industrial equipment
  • Provide customer service by acting as liaison between customer and office
  • Build and maintain customer confidence by providing a good response time, informing customers of problems, and completing the job in a timely manner
  • Evaluate and make recommendations regarding repairs
  • Provide repair information to service advisors to ensure repair quote accuracy
  • Perform minor repairs
  • Document inspection actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklist

Your qualifications include:

  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and understand technical data
  • Ability to work in elevated areas
  • Ability to use hand tools and trade type tools
  • Ability to operate a manlift
  • Knowledge of lockout/tag out procedures
  • Ability to accurately document inspection activities
  • Mechanical or electrical background an asset
  • Current Valid Driver's License with clear status
