Framer - carpenter

OT Timber Frames Ltd. is seeking an experienced framer - carpenter for their production site in 150 Mile House, BC, Canada.

This position is permanent and full-time with regular hours (40 hours per week).

Compensation: $36.60 / hour

Benefits: Extended Health and Dental Care after 4 months

Duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using industry specific measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials as required
• Supervise other construction workers
• Assist in preparing cost estimates for clients

Language of work: English

Skills Requirements:

Trade certificate or diploma, 3-5 years of timber framing experience. Basic English.

Experience in CAD/CAM controlled manufacturing processes

Experience in Project Management for prefabricated housing would be an asset
