Responsibilities:
· Assemble mechanical equipment
· Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
· Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
· Repair or replace defective machinery parts
· Supervise other workers
· Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
· Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
· Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
· Installing machinery and equipment
· Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
· Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
Credentials/ Certifications:
· Hoisting and Rigging Training
· Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
· GWO Basic Safety Training (4 components - Fire Awareness, First Aid, Manual Handling, and Working at Heights).
