We are an equal opportunity HVAC business looking to expand our resources in the Water Heater Installation Group. We have an immediate opening for a Water Heater Installation Helper. We are currently looking for an eager, self motivated and energetic individual to join our highly successful HVAC Company in a competitive, customer focused and fast paced environment. The hours of work for this position would be for a Day shift, 8 A.M.- 4 P.M. and will also require some weekend day shifts according to the schedule. This serves as a great opportunity to develop and advance your skills in the Residential HVAC Industry.
Compensation: In accordance with the Collective Agreement.
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 3 years recent relevant HVAC industry field experience. Knowledge of various types of Residential Water Heaters would be a definite asset.
Must possess a valid Ontario Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract.
Must possess a valid Gas Fitter 2 or Gas Fitter 1 License.
Demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
Demonstrate commitment to excellent customer service.
Excellent communication skills and organizational skills
Must be in good physical condition (heavy lifting required).
Must have good understanding of requirements and responsibilities of certificate holders for all authorities having jurisdiction.
Must have the ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment related to installing HVAC equipment.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with Lead Hand Installer to undertake and ensures quality Water Heater installations are completed in a timely, efficient manner adhering to all policies, procedures and applicable codes and standards.
Promote products and services through positive interaction with our customers information and education to help customer make informed decisions about purchasing HVAC equipment for their homes.
Ensure that day to day operational problems which impact on service delivery are identified and resolve through working with all members of our team.
Responsible for assuring all tools and equipment used are n good and safe working order.
Responsible for keeping vehicle stocked with all materials and equipment necessary to perform daily duties.
