Overview

Seeking a skilled 310t Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing various types of machinery and equipment, including heavy equipment, such as Hydrovac Trucks, Horizontal Directional Drill Equipment, and other Diesel Engine vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles and equipment (Hydrovac Trucks, Horizontal Directional Drills, and other Diesel engine vehicles and equipment)
• Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals.
• Operate forklifts and other machinery as needed during repair processes.
• Utilize hand tools and welding equipment to complete repairs efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely completion of projects.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills

• Proficient in maintaining heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and their maintenance.
• Experience with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
• Skilled in welding techniques for repairs as necessary.
• Familiarity with farm machinery operations and maintenance practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Pay

$45 - $50/hour, depending on experience.
