The Candidate will have knowledge of concrete forming such as large-scale commercial Dock levelers, Slab on Grades, Curb, Sidewalks, Aprons, Dolly strips and stairs. Ability to install rebar, Knowledge of reading a blue and survey sticks is an asset. (But not required) Own personal tools such as hammer, tape measure, leveler, Drill and tool pouch. You will be part the forming team to prep for Concrete pours. WHIMIS and CSTS certificates are mandatory prior to working on a job site. In addition, some general contractors require their own safety orientations if working on their job sites. Proper Safety attire is required such as CSA approved Steel toed work boots and at times Steel Toed rubber boots. In addition, you will be required to wear a safety vest, hard hat and safety glasses. Private medical Benefits are offered to the Potential Employee and their spouses including Children 18years and younger. Could be out of town work from time to time in which the employer supplies transportation, Live out allowance and travel time. Overtime rate is 1.5% after 8 hours in a day or 44 hours in a week.
