Journeyman and Apprentice Plumber

ARG Plumbing is looking to expand its team for a current project. The project is focused on new builds (wood framed, multi family homes). You will work as part of a our team to accomplish the rough in phase of the project. I am looking for someone who is fully committed to work steady hours to accomplish the project alongside a great team.

Daily tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential Building.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, Rough in.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, providing effective and timely solutions.
• Lead and supervise apprentice plumbers, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Follow and listen to direction or instructions from Journeyman or office as per instruction.- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and vehicle.
• Interact professionally with clients, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive client relationships.
• Complete all required documentation and reports accurately and on time.

  Requirements:

  • Over three years of experience in residential plumbing.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and regulations.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and complete work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments.
  • Willingness to continue professional development and training.

This opportunity could lead into fixture installation and finishing work. There are future opportunities for residential project, renovation & commercial work.

Job Types: Full-time, 

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
