Responsibilities
Tasks
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
- Estimate costs and materials
- Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
- Install sheet metal flashings
- Erect and dismantle scaffolds and other platforms
- Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
- Install, repair or replace shingle, shakes and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
