We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Red Seal Journeyman Auto Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:

1. Vehicle Inspections and Diagnostics:

   • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
   • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and analyze automotive systems.
   • Provide accurate and timely assessments of necessary repairs and maintenance.

2. Auto Repair and Maintenance:

   • Perform a wide range of automotive repairs, including but not limited to engine, transmission, suspension, and brake systems.
   • Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
   • Ensure all repairs and services meet industry standards and manufacturer specifications.

3. Customer Service:

   • Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
   • Communicate effectively to explain repair recommendations and provide cost estimates.
   • Address customer concerns and questions regarding automotive services.

4. Record Keeping:

   • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all services performed, including parts used and labor hours.
   • Utilize computerized systems for invoicing and maintaining customer information.

5. Adherence to Safety Standards:

   • Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in the workplace.
   • Ensure a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal of hazardous materials.

6. Continuous Learning:

   • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in automotive repair.
   • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and maintain Red Seal certification.

Qualifications:

• Red Seal Journeyman Auto Mechanic certification.
• Proven experience as an auto mechanic on passenger and light trucks.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of automotive systems, components, and repair techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must have own tools. Lift and other larger equipment is available.
