This position starts at $42/hr and may vary based on experience.
A “hands-on” individual who is responsible to ensure the maintenance and installation of the electrical needs of the park rides is executed effectively. The ideal candidate is a dedicated team player with 5+ years of diverse electrical experience. This person can effectively troubleshoot and problem-solve PLC controls and electronic drives.
How You'll Make A Difference:
- Responsible to execute daily, weekly and annual preventative maintenance program as assigned
- Respond to all service calls while on-duty in an efficient manner
- Ensure all necessary tools, parts and supplies for each job are available
- Responsible for installs, rebuilds and/or repairs on equipment as specified
- Ensure all required paperwork is properly completed including service records, reports and logs
- Identify and report all potential improvements, modifications and upgrades
- Ensure the safe operation of each work area and work project
We're Looking For:
- Electrical license (309A or 442A) is essential
- Prior experience working in a diverse environment with electrical or electronic equipment a must
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Valid Ontario driver’s license
- Exposure with Rockwell software, such as RS500, RS5000 an asset
- Knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC controllers such as Control logix and SLC500 an asset
- Ability to work from manuals and blueprints is essential
- Ability to work shifts weekends and holidays as required
- Ownership of tools and safety boots
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
- Required to meet the physical demands of the job including weights of up to 23kg, heights of 106m, frequent standing, walking, twisting, reaching, bending, crawling and ability to work with ladders
