Your challenges:

In this salary position, you will provide leadership and support in the management of shift performance in the news mill operations.

 

Your primary Responsibilities will include the following:

  • You will monitor and provide support for safety, environment, product quality and productivity while ensuring that budgeted safety, cost, production and quality targets are satisfied.
  • You will monitor mill processes to ensure compliance with both Company and Legislative standards.
  • You will work four on, four off 12 hour shifts working both days and nights.
  • This is a salary position paying in the range of $90,000 to $110,000 depending on qualifications plus an annual bonus of 10%, flexible medical and dental benefits, defined contribution pension plan and full relocation assistance.
  • Your profile:
  • At least 3 years of previous leadership experience and sound decision-making abilities.
  • At least 3 years of previous experience within a pulp and paper environment is preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalency.

Your skills and assets:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills including an ability to work collaboratively within a fast paced and structured environment.
  • Strong communication skills with excellent strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong ability to balance priorities that meet short and long-term objectives using organized and efficient work methods.
  • Proficient analytical skills required as well as a strong computer skills.
