Job Description

Milani Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning. The lower mainland's largest plumbing, heating & air conditioning service company is seeking a Plumbing Service Manager. With more than 100 service trucks on the road, we field a large volume of calls every day from people all over the Lower Mainland that need our help with their plumbing, drainage, heating and Air Conditioning Service. We are looking to fill open positions within our organization that requires people with great communication skills.

The right candidate is expected to direct daily operations of the Plumbing Department by successfully performing the following tasks, duties, and responsibilities:

  • Work with managers hiring new team members
  • Manage on-call schedule and manage technicians during on-call periods
  • Complete training with technicians
  • Complete ride along calls to develop team members
  • Assist managers with Dispatch/CSR meetings.
  • Deal with customer service and customer opportunities, if required.
  • Maintaining high ratings on all review websites.
  • Quickly and effectively responding/attending to any issues on Projects or service calls
  • Manage projects that fall within your team's scope.
  • Identify areas where the Company can improve and streamline different processes to increase sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, productivity, and employee satisfaction. Implement policies to improve these areas and follow through with the implementation.
  • Make sure employees are following existing policies and enforce all other Company policies.
  • Increase sales by motivating employees to sell more/better sales processes.
  • Reinforce safety training
  • Team building and morale, maintain the Company's brand and core values to the highest standards.
  • In the future assist with plans of expansion to other locations and services.
  • Any other miscellaneous duties required by the Operations/Human Resource Manager by the Company.

Candidates should have the following skills:

  • Excellent communication skills are required
  • experience in customer service and sales
  • ability to use spreadsheets, outlook, excel, word
  • ability to multitask and problem solve
  • have good composure during busy periods
  • sales over the phone
  • Have great phone presence and enjoy educating our customers
  • Have a great attitude and a positive, energetic personality
  • Ability to work long hours, weekends and/or early mornings as required.
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills are required
  • Clean, safe driving record.
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
  • High integrity with advanced social skills and ability to make solid connections.
  • Plumbing/HVAC knowledge an asset.
