Job Description

Seeking a full time Heavy Duty Mechanic. The ideal candidate must be able to diagnose, repair and maintain gas and diesel engines as well as a variety of heavy duty construction equipment, trailers and equipment used in day to day operations..

Requirements

  • Journeyman Red Seal certification
  • Valid drivers' license Class 5 or Class 1
  • Clean driver's abstract
  • Experience with routine maintenance operations
  • CVIP license is a must
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol screening for pre-employment
  • Heavy duty experience for on and off road
  • Automotive experience is also an asset
  • Ability to be self motivated
  • Computer literate (email, spreadsheets, asset tracking software)
  • Leadership abilities

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

  • ACHESON, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
