Welder

We are currently seeking a full time, permanent welder to join our team.

Position: Welder – Repair person

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes, operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines. Fit, braze and torch- straighten metal. Operate hoisting and lifting equipment, previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products. Maintain, and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment. Operate forklift. Equipment and experience with Arc welding machine, Soldering machine, Spot welding machine. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

1 year to less than 2 years experience in similar position. Training will be provided.  A trade is an asset, but not required. Experience with CAC-A and GTAW would be an added benefit. Ability to work independently and in a team setting.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, or equivalent work experience. A trade qualification may be an asset.

Salary:

$26.00 to $30.00/ Hour – depending on experience
