Based at our operations in Etobicoke, Ontario the Production Supervisor will be responsible for assisting in meeting production requirements by ensuring quality parts are being finished and in training employees to work efficiently and safe. Also, to contribute to a human work environment where fairness, equity and non-discriminatory practices are the standard.


  • Ensuring that employees have sufficient job training and information to efficiently perform their tasks in terms of both quality and quantity with frequent follow-ups after initiation.
  • Participate in the team effort of the quality control inspector and supervisor to maintain a smooth flow of production parts of the highest quality.
  • To report any equipment, malfunction as soon observed.
  • Delegate work assignments to Team Leaders ensuring complete.
  • Understanding so that standards and customer delivery dates are met.
  • Responsible to notify purchasing what raw materials we have on a weekly basis.
  • Responsible for machine set-up to ensure parts are produced to quality and production standards.
  • Check charts on machines for accuracy.
  • On call for Security Company and Police Dept. if there are any problems in the plant.
  • Fully informing the Production Manager of all events affecting plant operations.
  • Exchanging information with Production Manager regarding scheduling and any special instructions regarding the plant.
  • Participate and discuss possible changes or problems with your supervisor, and maintenance department personnel in order to improve quality and quantity of products.
  • Correctly filling in logbooks.
  • Inform immediate supervisor and/or Q.A. Manager when quality problems occur.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Four (4) to five (5) years Injection Molding and Mechanical experience.
  • Knowledge of Injection Molding equipment.
  • Knowledge of Materials.
  • Supervisory skills.
  • Knowledge of S.P.C. and WHMIS.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Communication skills.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Proactive in making recommendations for improvements to the equipment and processes.
