Red Seal Plumbers / Gasfitters (Port Coquitlam)

We are a small established Plumbing & Heating company located in Port Coquitlam servicing the Residential, Commercial and Strata Sectors since 1987 for the Greater Vancouver Area.

We are seeking a Red Seal Plumber / Gasfitter (a Class A gas-fitting ticket considered very desirable, Class B Gas Fitting ticket is a must)

We specialize in Strata Co-Op Services, Scheduled Preventive Mechanical Maintenance Services, All plumbing, Heating, Drain Cleaning, Air Conditioning, Boiler and Gas Fitting Related Service, TV Video Pipe Camera Inspections, Hot Water Tanks, Furnace and Boiler Replacements, Backflow Testing, High Pressure Power Flushing, All sump and pump installations and complete sewer cleaning and repair work.

The Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repairs associated with any or all of the above listed plumbing and heating systems. You must have a solid understanding of the plumbing and gas codes for British Columbia, hydronic heating, boilers, furnaces and plumbing materials.

Competencies and Duties
- Knowledge of boilers, furnaces, pumps and basic electrical and air conditioning
- Inspection, troubleshoot and repair work
- Maintenance of equipment through our preventative maintenance programs for strata
- Investigating causes of a mechanical issue and a proper solution
- Performing take-offs and lists for the purposes of ordering material and making local trips to vendors
- Consulting with clients to identify and address any other concerns
- Outstanding Customer Service Skills and a good command of the English Language written and verbal
- Able to develop legible service reports via written and computer
- Must be Computer literate
- Must be reliable, presentable, personable and willing to work overtime and be on call rotating weeks
- Must have a valid driving license and acceptable driving record
