Job Description
Our construction company is seeking a Carpenter Foreman to build concrete structures in the Fraser Valley. You will be managing a crew and the logistics of each project. In addition to assigning tasks and ensuring materials are ordered, you will make sure the work is done correctly and be enforcing workplace safety regulations. In some cases, you may also perform formwork carpentry tasks on your own. We are looking for a reliable individual with excellent workmanship. All applicants must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening.
Carpenter Foreman Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise a crew of up 40 carpenters during construction projects
- Oversee construction of formwork
- Assign carpentry tasks to workers
- Complete carpentry tasks as needed
- Order materials and supplies
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
Carpenter Foreman Requirements and Qualifications
- Red Seal Carpentry Certificate
- Minimum of 10 years of foreman experience
- Physical stamina to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail
- Organizational and time management skills
