Durose Manufacturing Ltd, A leader and progressive manufacturer of fabricated Steel products, is seeking a CNC Brake Press Operator for their facility in Guelph.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identify and maintain the appropriate tooling required to safely bend many different thicknesses of material
- Inspect products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications
- Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane and hoist
- Interpret technical drawings and work close to tolerances
- Set up and run CNC brake press ranging from 250-1500 tons
- Adhere to daily maintenance
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Completion of High School/High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have 3-5 years’ experience running a CNC Brake Press
- Must have Custom brake forming experience
- Experience in CNC controls an asset
- Experience in Heavy plate forming and or rolling an asset
- Must be able to lift 30-50lbs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Certified Forklift/Crane Operator would be an asset
- Practise safe work procedures and follow all health & safety regulations
