Industrial Maintenance Millwright

We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team! Day shift: 7:00am to 4;30pm

Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain punch presses and other machinery

• Repair, install, and adjust industrial machinery and stamping presses, conveyors,

• Perform routine Predictive maintenance on all machinery and presses , this technique is designed to help determine the condition of in-service equipment in order to predict when maintenance should be performed

• Perform Preventative maintenance regularly all machinery and presses to lessen the likelihood of it failing. Preventative maintenance is performed while the equipment is still working, so that it does not break down unexpectedly.

• Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment

• Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion

• Ongoing maintenance of all equipment within all MTD facilities.

• Recording all maintenance related duties in appropriate logs. (PM Schedules)

• Coordinate service subcontracts i.e. machine repair, building maintenance, plumbing and electrical.

• Coordinate service subcontracts i.e. machine repair, building maintenance, plumbing and electrical, if needed

• Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures

• Perform a variety of duties which may change often

• To keep the housekeeping standards high for Press Area. Mandating a clean and healthy work space.

• Will be required to work in other departments performing similar or new duties as directed by the company

• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

• ​Qualifications:
• Previous experience in machinery or other related fields
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Millwright Red seal license
