Sealand Aviation is an established and innovative aircraft maintenance, modification and repair business located in the city of Campbell River, B.C. We have a base at the Campbell River Airport for wheel equipped aircraft, and at Tyee Spit to service float planes.
Sealand Aviation is a Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) for aircraft maintenance, structures and welding and a Transport Canada Approved Organization (AO) for the Manufacture and Certification of Aeronautical Products. The company also has European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approval for maintenance.
Sealand designs, certifies and manufactures modifications, primarily for the de Havilland Beaver. The company holds 12 Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) from Transport Canada (and the US Federal Aviation Administration) and 45 other LSTCs, RDCs and PDAs. Over 40% of the de Havilland Beavers flying today have Sealand Aviation modifications.
In 2010 Sealand Aviation received the MISTIC Science, Technology and Innovation Award for Engineering and, in 2017, the Campbell River Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award for Export.
We are located in a laid-back city surrounded by a recreational paradise: skiing, ocean beaches, fishing, off road adventures and great flying.
